Each student needs access to a laptop or desktop computer to most effectively take advantage of the features of our virtual classrooms. The computer should meet the following system requirements for the smoothest experience:

The computer should be running Windows 7 or later, or Mac OSX 10.12 (Sierra) or later

You should have internet speeds of at least 40Mbps download and 5Mbps upload

The student should access the virtual classroom using

Google Chrome version 72.0.3626 or later

Firefox version 52 or later

A computer microphone (most laptops have a microphone built in)

Tablets may work, but they typically have more challenges within the virtual classroom and are not considered supported technology for our systems.

While a webcam will allow the student to interact more fully with the tutor, it is not required.
